Rosapenna Notes
The Sunday club competition was played over the Old Tom Morris Links on Sunday the 8th of December. 
The winner with 32pts was Hugo Duggan (16).
The runner up was Reg North (23) with 31 pts bot & third place was Garvin Toye (15) with 31 pts.
There will be a club competition on Sunday the 15th, 22nd & 29th of December.
There will be a club presentation on Sunday the 22nd of December in the Golf Pavilion.
The Rosapenna Gaeltacht League team were away last Saturday the 7th to Dunfanaghy G.C. and claimed 3 matches from 8.
The winners of the Rosapenna four ball better ball were Denis McBride & Charlie McClafferty with 41pts.
The Rosapenna Golf Club gents AGM took place in the Golf Pavilion last Friday the 6th of December.
Many thanks to the outgoing members of the committee including Michael McBride the outgoing secretary, Hugh McBride outgoing committee member and Edward McGroddy outgoing ex offico for their hard work & commitment to the golf club over the last number of years.
Congratulations to the new officers for 2014 including the Club Captain Mr Bernard O’Neill, Secretary Johnny Sweeney, Vice Captain Brian Kelly and committee members Seamus Herraghty & John Casey.
There will be a series of Open competitions over the Christmas Holiday period as follows:

Friday 27th Dec –
Any combination ladies & gents three ball scramble over the Old Tom Morris Links.
Saturday 28th Dec –
Gents Four Ball Better Ball Stableford over the Sandy Hills Links.
Wednesday 1st Jan –
18 Hole Gents Singles Stableford over the Old Tom Morris Links.
Saturday 4th Jan –
Gents Four Ball Better Ball Stableford over the Sandy Hills Links.
The entry will be in the Pavilion Golf Shop with the entry fee set at -

Any uncollected club prizes from the recent presentation are available for collection from the Pavilion Golf Shop during opening hours.
