Carrick captain Paddy Byrne with the U-16 final trophy
CARRICK Vocational School are the county U-16 Champions after a two point win over Pobalscoil Gaoth Dobhair.
The Carrick boys came from behind to edge to a 1-11 to 3-03 victory.
They’ve now added the U-16 title to the senior schools title won against Carndonagh two weeks ago.
Gaoth Dobhair had led by four points at the break, but Carrick took the lead early in the second half thanks to a goal from Paddy Byrne.
The Pobalscoil hit their third goal soon afterwards but Carrick VS held their nerve and took their points to seal the win.
