ST EUNAN’S CLUB NEWS: WE are delighted to confirm Oisín McConville as the Special Guest at this year’s Minor Board Presentation.
Oisin wowed us all a couple of years ago when he visited our club as part of a Newstalk radio show broadcast from the clubhouse.
He took a training session with some U12 Boys before staying on to be part of the panel for our All-Ireland semi-final preview night also featuring Joe Brolly.
He is one of the most decorated players in the history of the game with both Armagh and his club, All-Ireland kingpins Crossmaglen Rangers. His tales of triumph on the pitch and struggles off of it enthralled the crowd on the night and he won many friends with his honesty and courage.
He was recently appointed as joint manager of his native club as he seeks to lead them back to All-Ireland glory and was delighted to accept our invitation to attend on January 12th. If anyone has any pictures they want to e-mail for a slideshow on the night, Please send asap to: paulmagoo@eircom.net
