UNDERAGE PRESENTATIONSMalin GAA

The club underage presentation night was held in the clubhouse on Sunday evening. Congratulations to everyone who picked up awards on the night, a full list of prize winners will be printed in next weeks notes.

UNDERAGE PRIZE DRAW

Congratulations to the winners of our Underage Draw that took place during the bingo in St Patricks Hall on Sunday night. 1st Prize: A Christmas Hamper- Sean O Kane, Malin Head. 2nd Prize: A Meal for Two- John Doherty (Jack), Malin Head. 3rd Prize: 30 Euro Meat Voucher- Partick Rustard. 4th Prize: Christmas Cake- Gillian Boggs, Malin. 5th Prize: A Tin of Roses- Bronagh Mc Carron, Drumcrabit. We would like to say a big thank you to all those that bought & sold tickets for the draw, your support is greatly appreciated.

 

LOTTO

There was no winner of this weeks lotto jackpot of €1400. The sequence drawn was

1-5-3-6-4-7-2. The 50 euro winner was Teish Crua, Bunn, Glengad. The 20 euro sellers prize goes to Ciara Mc Laughlin, Shantla. Next weeks jackpot stands at €1450 and as always we would like to thank the local community for their continued support of our weekly lotto draw.

 

CLUB SHOP

The Malin GAA club shop will be open in the clubhouse on Saturday from 12-2 and

on Sunday from 11-15 to 1-30. There are a large selection of club merchandise in

stock, hoodies, rain jackets, shorts, socks, hats, scarves, kit bags are available. For

more details, contact Susan on 07493 70638. Congratulations to Tina Douglas, Bunn who was the winner of the hamper and to Matthew Doherty, Redford who was the winner of the Name The Teddy competition, which ran in the club shop for the past few weeks.

 

GOOD AS NEW SHOP

The Good As New Shop is now closed and will open up again in early February. Thank you to everyone who brought or purchased items over the past few months.

 

CARD NIGHT

A very successful 25 Card Drive was held in the clubhouse recently, the event was very well attended with a bus load of eager card enthusiasts traveling all the way from the Fanad peninsula to take part. Overall winner on the night was Seamus Wilhare from Carrigart who collected the 300 euro prize money. 2nd place and 250 euro went to Pat O Brien. 3rd place was Seamus Harkin and 4th was MJ Doherty (G) who both collected 75 euro each for their efforts. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped organize the event.

 

CLUB SOCIAL NIGHT

The club are hosting an end of year get together in the clubhouse on Sunday 29th of December. This will be our last event of the 2013 year and a perfect opportunity for club members to get together and let their hair down. Our “Alternative Awards” for 2013 will be presented on the night….never mind the Oscars and player of the year awards……these are the ones everyone wants to get their hands on!! 2013 has been another good year both on and off the pitch, so why not make your way to the clubhouse on Sunday night and finish the year off in style. Music gets underway at 9.30

We would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. Also we would like to say a big thank you to anyone who has helped out during the year, players, managers, referees, club officers, lotto sellers, coaches, FAS workers, caterers, kit washers, bus drivers, groundsmen, supporters, sponsors, the local press or basically anyone who has contributed to our success over the past year. 2013 has been another great year for the club and we look forward to 2014 with great anticipation.
