Parts of Donegal Town, Ballyshannon and Annagry have been badly hit.
Power cables are down, a boat was washed up onto the pier at Bunbeg while the car park in Donegal Town was completely submerged in water.

ESB crews have been called out across the county with a number of reports of downed powerlines.
The ESB are currently fixing a powerline which has come down on the Carnmore Road in Dungloe.
Hundreds of homes in Lifford, Newtowncunningham, Dungloe and Bunbeg are without power.
Despite the storm-like conditions there are no reports of serious injuries.
