DONEGAL people are being encouraged to bake some buns and support the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Irish Guide Dog Day will be celebrated this Friday, May 8.
For over 40 years, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind have provided life-changing services and support to people across Ireland with sight loss. In 20045, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind were the first organisation in Europe to provide Assistance Dogs for families of children with autism.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no gatherings to celebrate their day.
Instead, however, people are being encouraged to bake a doggy-themed bun, cake or biscuit (a couple of examples above!).
To continue the challenge, like the Donegal Branch of Irish Guide Dogs page on Facebook, tag them in your image and nominate three friends.
To donate text WOOF to 50300 (will cost €4). https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/donegal-branch
