Finn Harps are putting the final touches to their pre-season preparations before the squad meets up for the first time next Monday the 13th of January.
Ollie Horgan has been working hard in the off-season by securing the vast majority of last seasons squad while also acquiring the services of former captain Packie Mailey.
It is expected that a number of players from the USL will train with Harps during pre-season in the hope of landing a contract for the season ahead.
Harps have organised several friendlies with Premier Division sides to play during their preparations for the 2014 First Division campaign, they will play Dundalk on the 28th of February at Oriel Park.
It is also believed they will play Cork City in Galway and UCD in Monaghan.
While it is believed they will also host Sligo Rovers at Finn Park.
Horgan has yet to resolve the goalkeeping issue following the departure of Ciaran Gallagher to Derry City.
James Gallagher has been appointed as first team coach and has also signed as a player.
He has stated that if he’s needed he can step in to the side for a game or two.
Gavin Cullen has expressed an interest in re-joining the club and would be seen by many as the perfect replacement for Ciaran Gallagher.
