Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan has added a further four members to his backroom team since appointing James Gallagher as his senior coach.
Horgan has secured the services of strength and conditioning gurus Michael Black and Adam Speer who have an excellent reputation within the county for implementing fitness programmes for teams and individual players.
The pair came to prominence after becoming a part of the Donegal GAA management staff under the stewardship of Jim McGuinness and have been credited with playing a pivotal role in Donegal’s success over the last number of years.
The pair also worked closely with Finn Harps last season during their pre-season preparations but this year they will work with the side for the full campaign.
Therese Laverty is the nutritionist for the Donegal GAA football and hurling panels and she has also been brought on board to help with the team’s preparation for the coming season.
Laverty was also involved with Harps last season and worked closely with them until she departed the club early in the summer.
Legendary kit-man Tommy Harkin who has been a stalwart at Fanad United for years also joins the club.
He is well known by all in footballing circles within Donegal and his appointment will be a popular one.
The long serving Mickey McGlynn remains on as club physio.
Ollie Horgan told the official Finn Harps website that he is delighted to secure the services of so many professional personnel on his management staff for the season ahead.
Horgan said, “I am delighted we have high calibre and professional people on our management team ahead of the forthcoming pre-season schedule.
“We will a have open communication throughout the season so we can ensure that the players preparation will be second to none.
“We have a lot of work ahead but everyone is looking forward to getting started.
