Arena7’s Charity Family Fortunes Competition is now taking entries for 2014 following on from the wonderful success of the competitions over the last number of years.
Last year saw the Relay for Life Team captained by Caroline Sweeney winning the event beating The Marc Anderson Budapest Appeal in the final.
However in a great gesture the Relay for Life team swapped their €1000 winning cheque with the runners up cheque of €500 to aid Marc Anderson with his treatment in Budapest a gesture greatly received by everyone least not Marc’s family and supporters. 
The competition kicks off in February with 8 teams competing each Friday night with 5 members on each team.
The competition is great craic can be entered by anyone from any club, charity, football team or even just a group of friends looking for a good night out.
Entry is only €50 per team and with €1500 in prize money it is a fantastic opportunity to raise some much needed funds.
The game is the exact same as it is played on TV and has gone down a treat this last 3 years.
