Donegal County Council have issued an announcement that the Harry Blaney Bridge over Mulroy Bay is closed to all traffic due to severe gale force winds. 
The bridge will remain closed until further notice as the storm is not expected to subside anytime soon.
Gardai have urged the pubic to travel with extreme caution today as the adverse weather conditions look set to worsen.
