A Donegal man has pleaded guilty to having sex with a child under 17 years of age.
Letterkenny District Court.
The man, who cannot be named, appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court today.
The man admitted to two charges of engaging in a sexual act with a child under 17 at two dates, in February 2012 and April 6th, at locations in East Donegal.
The case has been adjourned until April 6th for sentencing.
State prosecutor Patricia McLoughlin asked for a victim impact statement and also that the man be placed on the sex offender’s register.
A psychological report and probation report was also ordered.
