TRIBUTES POUR IN FOR YOUNG MAN KILLED IN TRAGIC ACCIDENT

Social media outlets Facebook and Twitter have been flooded with tributes to John Campbell Jnr who was killed in a tragic accident in Kilcar last night.  Mr Campbell and his son

The hugely popular 28-year-old was killed when a car he was working on suddenly collapsed on top of him at around 8.30pm last night.

The tragic news has sparked an outpouring of grief on Facebook since the devastating news broke.

Shocked friends and relatives have paid tribute to the married father of three children.

The tragic man’s sister Claire Campbell posted on her Facebook timeline “Our whole world just fell apart..love u so much john..”

His brother Gavin Campbell posted on his timeline “R.i.p Bro , Love You Loads x Sweet Dreams xx”

His Father John posted the above picture of him and his son in which he said “Memories in which no-one can steal”.

His father John Campbell is well known throughout the sporting fraternity in Donegal.

He is a former Chairman of Finn Harps FC and currently works as a club secretary and is a Director of the Finn Harps Schools programme which he has worked tirelessly to implement in schools across the county over the years.

His colleague at Finn Harps FC Aidan Campbell also paid tribute on Facebook posting,

“Today our Football Club is united in grief following news of the untimely death of John Campbell JNR in a tragic accident last night.

“John Jnr is the son of our friend & colleague John Campbell club secretary and Director of Finn Harps Schools.

“Our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to parents John, Helena & their family, to John JNRs wife Noelle and their three children Evan, Mia and Eva.”

Remains will be reposing tonight Wed and tomorrow Thurs in Castlecairn.

Family time from 11pm -10 am. Funeral mass in ST Carthas Church Kilcar 12 noon on Friday. R.I.P.
