Harps were due to face Letterkenny Rovers who are managed by former Harps player Trevor Scanlon.

Letterkenny have signed a number of former Harps players who were recently on the books at Finn park.

Aaron O’Hagan, Matthew Harkin and Stephen O’Donnell all lined out for Harps under Peter Hutton last season.

Harkin and O’Donnell both departed Finn Park before the end of last year’s disappointing campaign.

While O’Hagan signed with Rovers after playing with Castlefin Celtic in the off season.

Rovers were unable to play the game this Sunday and it is believed the game has been re-arranged to be played later this month.

Harps are expected to play an in-house training match as Ollie Horgan looks to cast an eye over potential recruits in the form of former Schalke 04 trainee Graham Fisher and ex-Manchester United trainee Joe Coll.

Harps are scheduled to play Sligo Rovers next Saturday afternoon at Finn Park.
