SAINT Eunan’s College boys are through to the McLarnon Cup semi-final after a superb victory over St Columb’s College, Derry, tonight.
The Letterkenny (and surrounding areas!) boys trailed the Derry lads at half-time under the floodlights at Celtic Park this evening, 1-03 to 0-05.
But with the aid of the breeze and some wonderful play, St Eunan’s overcame their hosts despite losing captain Conor O’Donnell to a black-card mid-way through the second half.
The St Eunan’s team was full of other leaders tonight, including man of the match Oisin Carr eventually winning by 2 points, 0-11 to 1-06.
