OGRA DONEGAL SOUTH WEST MEMBERS WANT YOUNGER VOICES AT CONVENTIONS

Claudia Kennedy has insisted she wants to hear younger voices at selection conventions stressing that youth is the way forward in modern politics.  Claudia Kennedy

Two Donegal SW Ogra members, Claudia Kennedy from Bundoran in the Donegal Electoral area (EA) and Ian Molloy, Ogra Chairman, Glenties, in the Glenties EA (pictured) will contest the upcoming FF Selection Conventions in a couple of weeks.

Claudia, a secondary school teacher is also one of the youngest and most able members of FF National Executive member.

She told Donegal Daily, “I believe it is fantastic to have Ogra members like myself and Ian contesting the FF Selection Conventions In County Donegal.

“We represent the renewal, regeneration and change within FF. Nationally, there has been a significant number of Ogra Candidates who have been successfully chosen at their selection conventions to contest the Local Elections in May.

“A new era has begun within Fianna Fáil, which has given me the confidence to see that things are changing.

“FF Leader Michael Martin has stressed the need for youth and women on the ticket.

“I have faith in his vision and that is why I am going to convention.
