Dungloe pool player Shaun Sharkey has been in excellent form for the Irish team at the European Pool Championships in Malta.

Sharkey helped the Ireland team record impressive wins over Belgium, Northern Ireland and Morocco on the first day of the competition.
The Irish team followed that up with a victory over France with Sharkey again playing an integral role throughout the match.
They currently lie joint top with Malta and England and look set to book a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
The Irish side have three games today and they’ll be hoping that they can continue their fine run of form and top the group.
