Please note that Traffic Restrictions will be in place the day of the Donegal v Monaghan game on Sunday week, March 2nd. The road out from the bottom of the Back / Convent Rd. will be closed from 12:30pm. There will be a Park & Ride system in place and patrons are advised to park in the various Car Parks around Letterkenny with Shuttle Buses running from The Station House Hotel to and from O’Donnell Park. Traffic coming in from the Glenswilly side will be turned by Gardai and faced back out before parking up.
We will be taking a list of Stewards for the weekend, Charlie McAteer is currently not available however you can text him with your name between this Sunday (Feb. 23rd) and Tuesday (Feb. 25th) as only those that have registered to steward will be granted access on the day. Please note that if you are volunteering to Steward, you must also help with the clean-up operation after wards. I will send an e-mail and post on Facebook on Sunday with Charlie’s number – please do not text until Sunday.
There is no Girls U14 Training on this Thursday, Feb. 20th, it will return next week (27th).
The Minor Board are meeting tonight in the clubhouse, all managers are asked to bring any gear and / or equipment they have to hand over and to bring a list of any requirements for the upcoming season.
There will be another Membership Registration for 2014 this Saturday, Feb. 22nd in the Clubhouse between 12 noon and 2pm. All players need to come out and get registered as this is our 3rd Registration session and still less than half our members have registered. All managers are asked to text their players to remind them asap.
There is a new Child Protection Module taking place on Friday 28th of February in the Clubhouse and it is compulsory for anyone that is working with underage players if you haven’t done a child protection course within the last 3 years. Places are limited to 20, please contact Pauric Daly to confirm your attendance at: pbdaly@eircom.net.

There is no Girls U14 Training in Game on this Thursday (20th Feb). It will return next week (27th) at 6:50pm.
Girls U16 Football training continues every Wed in Game On after being cancelled last week because of the bad weather. It is on between 6:50pm and 8pm. Cost is €3 per week.
The Hurling & Camogie Academy is up and running again on Friday evenings and takes place in Game On at the following times: U12’s Hurling is 5:30pm – 6:30pm
U6/ U8 / U10’s are on 6:30pm – 7:45pm. Cost is €3.
U12 & U14 Camogie takes place in Game On on Tuesdays between 6pm and 7pm. We are looking for new members to take up Camogie. Contact Joe Kealy for more details. Cost is €3 per night.
The Minor Football League (boys) is scheduled to start on Sunday, March 2nd. With the U14’s beginning the following week.
There are details of the new Football rules on the club Facebook page and all managers and players are advised to make themselves familiar with them. They were also sent by club e-mail.
There were 8 winners that matched 3 numbers and they win €15 each. The numbers drawn were: 4-5-7-21.
