Walsh, who has overseen the magnificent development of Irish boxing over the past ten years will be joined by one of the country’s leading motivational speakers, Pearce Flannery of Pragmatica and Donegal businesswoman Anna Pringle as the curtain comes down on yet another busy week of events across the county.

CEO of DCEB, Michael Tunney told Donegal Daily,

“We are delighted to have Mr. Billy Walsh, himself a former boxer and Olympian, now Head Coach of Irish Amateur Boxing Association’s High Performance Team.

“He will be joined by Pearce Flannery, Pragmatica – renowned as one of the country’s leading motivational speakers and Anna Pringle originally from Killybegs for the closing event of what we are certain will be another successful business week.

The closing event will take place in Letterkenny’s Silver Tassie Hotel but before that, the week-long series of events at venues across the county, is sure to attract huge interest from the business community – and indeed anyone interested in business in Donegal.

“This year’s programme once again has a terrific range of speakers, workshops and seminars all aimed at providing opportunities for learning and networking.

“The ultimate objective is to help established businesses and indeed new start-ups to grow and develop, which will assist the economy of our county.

With that in mind DCEB and its partners have put together a fantastic line-up of events across Donegal and following last week’s official launch many of the places are already booking up very quickly.

One event already attracting significant attention is the presentation from The Futures Company in An Grianan Hotel, Burt, that aims to help local businesses identify new innovation and growth opportunities.

“The Futures Company has glowing testimonials from companies like Coca-Cola, GlaxoSmithKline, Kraft foods and Diageo, to name but a few and to have them in Donegal to speak really is a fantastic opportunity that local businesses definitely don’t want to miss out on.

The week’s events kick off with a marketing workshop by Gary Brown of Target McConnell’s in the Mount Errigal Hotel on Monday March 3rd.

Other highlights of a packed week include the return of top UK entrepreneur Michelle Mone, Claire Burge’s workshop on getting organised, international speaker Kevin Kelly on the pursuit of exceptional execution in business and a range of events including events of finance, tendering and website sales.

“The full line-up of events is available online and while all of the events are free, it is necessary to register and we’d urge people to visit donegalenterprise.ie to have a look at the week’s programme and to register as soon as possible.

John McNamara from Sendmode has set up a texting service to keep people reminded on when the events take place.
