A Status Yellow rainfall alert is in place for Donegal.
Met Éireann say that the Status Yellow warning is for Donegal and North Leitrim.
The warning came into place at 1.07pm and is value until midnight.
Met Éireann said: “Further showers or longer spells of rain will maintain the risk of localised flooding and hazardous driving conditions.”
