DONEGAL County Council is seeking planning permission to replace a faulty sewerage treatment plant at a housing estate in Killygordon.
The council has published a notice that it is seeking to demolish the existing ‘defective and environmentally hazardous’ facility at Dromore Park.
The proposed development will consist of a new pumping station, fencing and associated works.
A rising main will also be constructed from the Dromore Park location, in order to pump wastewater to the existing foul network in Killygordon village.
