A FURTHER 1,758 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported by the Department of Health today.
Health officials say that, as of 8am today, there were 248 patients in Ireland’s hospitals receiving treatment for Covid-19.
Of those, there are 48 in intensive care settings.
According to the most recent figures, there are six Covid-19 patients at Letterkenny University Hospital, two of whom are in ICU.
