A man has been caught on CCTV stripping off his shirt after destroying a sign in a Donegal village.
Gardaí are investigating the unusual incident which occurred in Raphoe last weekend.
At midnight Friday last, the man was seen walking past a supermarket on the Diamond when he inexplicably decided to start kicking apart a coffee advertisement sign.
Gardaí say the large fibre glass sign was of high value.
The man then proceeded to take off his white T-shirt.
“He was quite proud of his work after kicking it apart and took his T shirt off and walked around in his bare chest,” said spokesperson Garda Niall Maguire.
“A lot of people had just left the pubs and were in the area so if anyone can help us identify this chap please contact the guards in Letterkenny on 0719167100 or 1800666111 or any garda station in Raphoe or Convoy.”
