The enthusiasts behind the new craze say it is harmless fun.
And some of those taking part even get cars to drive ahead of them on rural roads as a safety measure – or ‘safety car’.
But Gardai have interviewed several people in Inishowen about several incidents like the ones featured in this YouTube video.
