Letterkenny man Mark English made a triumphant return to Dublin Airport yesterday where he was greeted by delighted family and friends.
He could not hide his delight at winning a bronze medal at Sunday’s European 800 metres final in Munich.
The normally ice-cool athlete allowed himself a smile and expressed his happiness at another brilliant medal win.
English trains out of the Dublin Track Club under the expert eye of coach Feidhlim Kelly.
He is also a member of Finn Valley AC and a homecoming reception will take place at the Finn Valley Athletics Club tomorrow evening at 5pm.
