Independent Candidate in Letterkenny/Milford, Peter Cutliffe has called on Fianna Fáil to clarify its position in relation to the proposal by its candidate, Mr John Watson to have County Council meetings moved from Lifford to the Letterkenny Courthouse. 
Cutliffe told Donegal Daily, “This is a very important building in Letterkenny and it is very unclear if the Fianna Fáil party locally are supportive of this proposal.
“Whilst I’m supportive of regenerating Letterkenny Centre, I certainly do not agree with any policy that drains the life out of the smaller towns in the County, he added.
Cutliffe has also called on voters, who are disillusioned with the current political system, to express their frustrations with local representatives in the ballot box on May 23rd.
He has urged them to vent their anger and fury, by electing new representatives on their behalf.
“I’m urging those completely disillusioned with elected representatives to vote for new candidates who are actually interested in making positive change to their local communities.
