Independent candidate in Letterkenny/Milford, Peter Cutliffe has today urged people who are not registered to vote to do so before deadline of Tuesday next, May 6.
Cutliffe is acutely aware of the anger people have towards the current government, and realises that many citizens are disillusioned with the whole political hierarchy both locally and nationally.
He has urged those fed up with the current system to do something about it, and vote for representatives, who will stand up and fight for the issues that affect them and their communities.
He has called on those young people not registered, to do so before May the 6th and have their say on May 23rd, citing that it is their futures that are being decided.
Cutliffe told Donegal Daily, “Forms are available from County Council web page or public offices like the Garda Barracks and once signed and completed they can be dropped into the local Council office before close of business next Tuesday evening (May 6).
“I would especially urge young people, who are not yet on the voting register to get involved in the election as it your future that is being decided, Mr Cutliffe warned.
Cutliffe concluded by saying, “I hear a lot of frustration and anger on the doorsteps and it is now up to people to come out and vote on May 23rd to revitalize hope in our County.
