LETTERKENNY GOLF CLUB LADIES REPORT
Well done to Kay Kelly and Celine Bradley, our first two big scores in 2013. Both ladies brought in a fabulous 22 points over the front nine holes with Kay winning on BOT.
The latest date for news of the Daily Mail draw is February 27th so watch this space for news of the next round for our club winners Kay Kelly and Bridie Gildea.
Owing to the inclement weather, the Drive In was postponed and is now due to take place on Sunday next, February 24th. Arrangements are as previously announced – refreshments from 10am in the Clubhouse with drive-in taking place at 11am. Everyone is very welcome whether you wish to play or just support our Captain, Lady Captain and President official launch our centenary year’s season in Barnhill. Food will be served in the Clubhouse following play.
As the Drive-In date had to be changed, consequently the Bingo had to move too so it is scheduled for the end March – more details to follow.
The Ladies have launched a new online Newsletter which will keep you up to date with events, whether related to our golf, social or club matters. If you wish to receive a copy of this, please ensure you provide us with your up to date email address. We also have an excellent texting system for ladies that can let you know at short notice if a competition is called off, a meeting is arranged or anything we need to let you know about. Again, please ensure we have your current mobile phone number.
We have collected 146 used mobile telephones for our defibrillator drive – we are inching our way to the required 250 and would be delighted to receive any old mobiles lying around your house, office, car etc.
