Malin GAASENIOR FOOTBALL

An experimental Malin side suffered an 8-point defeat at the hands of Strabane Sigersons in the Quinns Corner Intermediate League clash in Connolly Park on Sunday. Malin travel to Derry next weekend to play their final game in the competition where Ogra Colmcille are the hosts. The game is expected to have a 12 o clock throw in on Sunday but the exact time will be confirmed near the end of the week.

SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Malin have been drawn in Section 1 of the newly revamped Donegal Senior Championship, alongside defending champions, St Eunans, last years beaten finalists N. Conaill, with Cloughaneely making up the foursome. This is the first year where the Senior championship will be run in this format with the top 2 sides in each section progressing to the quarter finals. With training now in full swing, and landing a plum draw in the championship, the senior players and management are eagerly awaiting the start of the new season where they will pit their wits against the best the county has to offer. Malin travel to O Donnell Park to take on St Eunans but a bumper crowd is expected in Connolly Park for the visit of both N. Conaill and Cloughaneely in the competition.
