Finn Harps are on the verge of announcing a major new sponsor for the coming year – believed to be North West Forest Services.
The Ballybofey club has announced that their sponsorship partnership with Donegal Creameries has come to an end after five years.
And it now looks as if the Eirtricity First Division side will have a new name on their jerseys for the new season.
Joey O Leary, chairman of Finn Harps, said: “We are obviously very sorry to lose Donegal Creameries as sponsors of Finn Harps after five mutually successful years.
The Board, team management, players and our supporters, have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Donegal Creameries. We wish to thank them for their partnership and generous support over the years.
“Our staff have been in negotiations with a number of interested parties about the sponsorship of Finn Harps from 2013 onwards. We believe we have a very attractive brand that offers potential sponsors a highly visible presence across print, broadcast and online media. We are confident that we will be announcing a new sponsor at the end of this week.”
Donegal Creameries Sales Manager Niall O Donnell described the company’s relationship with Finn Harps as “tremendous” and thanked the Finn Harps board, players, management and supporters.
