Dance
A dance will be held in St. Patrick’s hall this Thurs 28th Feb from 9.00 – 12 midnight. Music by Martin Duggan and Tory Sound. Adm is only €7. Tea served and everyone welcome.
Cancer Cure Control Care
A clothing collection in aid of Cancer Cure Control Care will take place next Thursday 28/02/13 @Main Street, Convoy (near the Church of Ireland) between 10.30-3.30pm
Requested items include all types of household textiles, new/used clothing, shoes, handbags etc.

40th Anniversary of St. Patrick’s Church
Drumkeen parish would like to invite everyone to celebrate the 40th anniversary of St. Patrick’s Church on Fri 15th March. The blessing of the new wall and gates will take place @ 6:15pm, and mass will be concelebrated by his Lordship Bishop Boyce and Fr. Herrity @7pm. Refreshments will be served in the hall after mass where a collection of old photographs will be on display. Contact Charlie on 087 7728608 for details.
Parish Clean-Up
In preparation for the 40th anniversary of St. Patrick’s church the parish committee are having a spring clean-up around the church and hall area on Sat 09th March @ 10am. We would like to ask anyone who is available to come along and lend a hand, if even for a short while. All gloves, rubbish bags etc. will be supplied. This is a great opportunity to show your support for our very dedicated and hard working parish committee. Contact Johnny on 086 2107334 for any enquiries.
Fund Raising Dance
A dance will take place in aid of “Inis Aoibhinn Cancer Care West” Co. Galway this Fri 01st March 2013 in the Millview Inn Stranorlar. Music by Trevor Loughrey. The tickets are available by phoning the Millview on 086 832 8593 or 087 669 8178 and are priced at a very reasonable €5. Please come along and support this very worthy cause. Spot prizes and buffet on the night.

Drumkeen Children’s Playground
After many enquiries and representations from local residents and the play group with regard to erecting a play ground for kids in the parish, Councillor Cora Harvey has been actively pursuing this issue and is appealing to local land owners who feel they may have an appropriate site to contact her. You can contact Cora in the local constituency office in Ballybofey on 074 9130899.
Councillor Harvey is working with DCC in relation to funding, but land acquisition is the first priority.

Holding monthly meetings for people living with the Chronic Pain Condition Fibromyalgia. We hold monthly meetings – 1st Wed of the month in Letterkenny & 1st Fri of the month in Stranorlar.
Also morning meetings may be run in Ballybofey on a Friday – if this is of interest to you, please get in contact.
