St. Joseph’s v West London Wildcats Challenge Match – Saturday, 2nd March

We are playing the West London Wildcats in a challenge match on Saturday, 2nd March, at 2.30pm in Perivale. The Wildcats were the 2011 AFL London Premier Champions and are the biggest and most successful Aussie Rules Football club outside Australia. Like last year’s match, we will be playing the first half with a round ball and the second half with an oval ball! Both sides had great craic last year and gained a lot from the experience. Check out last year’s match report http://hoganstand.com/uk/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=162804 and last year’s match pictures http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151336666565125.815883.570155124&type=3.

We will be having drinks and food in Tír Chonaill Gaels’ clubhouse in Greenford after the match. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

New Players

New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. We are based in West London; the club covers a wide area and current players live in many different areas, including Acton, Ealing, Fulham, Greenford, Ruislip and Wimbledon. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm and transport to and from our training ground and pick-up from stations can be arranged, if required. If you would like to join our club, please do not hesitate to contact us on the club mobile: 07597 168 298, or via any of our contact details below. We would be delighted to hear from you.
