EIGHT Gardai due to take on anti-crime duties in Donegal today have been diverted to a protest at council HQ in Lifford.
Around 30 DAAA protestors stormed a council meeting earlier.
They’ve since been told to leave the building – or stay quietly inside the small council chamber.
Councillors are trying to complete their January meeting which was adjourned twice.
Protestors shouted and blew whistles forcing the meeting to be adjourned (yet again).
