It was a mixed weekend for the Donegal Ladies County Championship winners in the Ulster Club Championship Quarter-Finals.

Termon and Downings advanced but Dungloe lost out narrowly in their matchup.

On Saturday Downings Ladies travelled to Cavan to take on Butlersbridge in the Ulster Junior Championship quarter-final. Two goals apiece from Denise Doherty and Shannon McGroddy and one from Amy McLaughlin saw them through to the last four on a winning scoreline of 5-04 (19) to 2-10 (16).

On Sunday Dungloe Ladies played out a hard fought game against Mullahoran from Cavan. In a low scoring game the Cavan ladies just did enough to win by three points 1-06 to 0-06.

At the Burn Road Termon ladies proved much to strong for Tyrone Senior champions.

Termon built up a big first-half lead with an Evelyn McGinley goal and a number Geraldine McLaughlin points, she kicked eight in total in the game as they ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-05 to clinch a semi-final spot.
