An Clochan Liath Club Notes

Ba iad 12, 15, 18 agus 22 na huimhireacha lotto a tarraingeadh ag deireadh na seachtaine agus nior baineadh póta óir an lotto. Beidh €1,700 sa phóta óir don seachtain seo. Bhain na daoine seo leanas €20 an ceann Kevin Gillespie Mullaghduff, John E. Gallagher Druimlaughdrid, Kathleen Brady Arranmore, Jack Mullaney Gortahork agus Anne Boyle Mullaghduff.

Bhain Nan Doherty as Main Street, Marie Coll as Brinaleck, Mary Byrne as Annagry, Rosemary Conaghan  as Crickamore agus Sarah Boyle as Oughtmeen €100. ag an bhingo.

The 7th draw in the forth series of the 200 Club was held on Sunday night the 24th of February at the bingo and the winners are as follows for the month of March, 1st €1,000 – Joe Neely as Quay Road, 2nd €500 – Eddie Sweeney as AIB, 3rd €300 – Joseph McGowan as St. Peter’s Tce., 4th €100 – Connie & Bernadette Kerr as Tubberkeen, 5th €100 – Margaret Gallagher as Cois Locha. Well done to all the winners and thanks to everyone for their continued support. This will go towards the development of our facilities at Pairc na Rosann.

Congratulations to Catriona Solan who won the solo singing section of
the county final of Scor Sinsir, Catriona now goes on to represent her
club and county in the ulster semi final in derrygonnely, co Fermanagh

The U8s football and hurling training begins this Saturday morning at
10:30am in the astro pitch followed by the U10s at 11:30am. The U14s begin
their league campaign on Sunday away to Bundoran at 12:00pm.

Dungloe GAA Club is having its annual registration night on Friday 1st of March at 7pm in the Rosses Community School, Dungloe. We would ask that all existing members i.e. minor and senior to attend. All new members are also most welcome. The annual fees this year is as follows: Junior: € 10, Student: €15, Adult: €30, Family: € 50, Single adult + Lotto: €90, Family + Lotto: €110.

The annual dinner dance will take place in Caislean Oir Annagry on the 2nd of March starting at 8.30pm. The Sam Maguire cup will be there. Tickets are 25 euro and are available from Adrian Sweeney @ 086-1704556.

Both senior and reserve team were in Gaeltacht action at the weekend, the reserves were beaten at home on a score-line of An Clochan Liath 1-12 St Nauls 2-11. The senior team traveled to Kilcar, fielded a very youthful team and were defeated on a score-line of An Clochan Liath 0-9 Kilcar 3-6. Best on the day was Shaun Sharkey, Adrian Hanlon & Mark Sweeney. Credit to the 6 minors that featured and who had all ready played two games in the previous day.
