Donegal public warned of debris and falling branches as wind warning issued

A wind warning has been issued for Co Donegal for tomorrow (Thursday).

The Status Yellow warning comes into effect from 1pm and will remain in place until 9pm.

A warning from Met Eireann states “On Thursday afternoon and evening, strong and very gusty west to northwest winds.”

It adds that the possible impacts from the warning includes falling branches, localised debris and difficult travelling conditions.

The affected areas include Donegal, Clare, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.
