GAA NEWS: GLENSWILLY CLUB NOTES

The Scor county final, which was held in the Glenswilly Hall, was a huge success last Friday night.Glenswilly GAA Club

Thanks to all for helping with car parking,door staff,front of house/stage,backstage,tea ladies,adjudicators and especially to Dietmar for his invaluble help in providing the excellent sound and lighting that made the night.

Well done to all the participating clubs. Congratulations to all the winners ,especially our own Nuachleas team and Lisa O’Donnell/Melly (recitation) who go forward to represent the county in the Ulster Semi-Final on the 9th March in Derrygonnelly Co Fermanagh.

Well done to the senior reserves in their convincing win over Ardara in the Gaeltacht match on Sunday. The score being 2-10 to 1-1. Lotto winning nos.this week 10,15,19,24. Match 3 winner Hannah Sweeney Tullygay.Next week sellers, Charlie Bonner and Charlie Mc Grenra.

All parents and those interested in helping with under 12,14,and 16 age ladies team are requested to attend a meeting in the hall, Glenswilly, on Monday 4th March at 9 o’clock. Under 12 boys training continues in the hall every Wednesday from 6 to 7 o,clock. Jiving classes in the Hall this Thursday night, only, from 8.30 and every Tuesday night there-after. Anyone wishing to use the Hall should contact Karen at 0863827312.

Comhairdeas to Caoimhe Ní Ghallachóir from Stramore School Glendowan, who has been crowned County Champion in handball – under 13 singles. Congratulations also to Jack Gallagher and Jack Harkin who were runners up.
