Last week saw the District C of the Ulster Schools Cross Country take place at the Finn Valley Centre in Stranorlar.
There were a number of Rosses AC athletes who took in the opportunity for a late season race, but for most the focus has shifted to indoors. Special mention to Aileen Logue who ran a strong race finishing strongly and qualified for the Ulster Championships Finals.
There was a good turnout at last week’s Dungloe Parkrun with Mark Ward and Bernie Boyle getting good runs in.
The club has put organised circuits on Tuesday each week for the next 6 weeks in Annagry hall from 7-8pm. Bring yoga mats if you have them. Sportshall continues every Wednesday at the RCS Gym from 7pm to 8pm for 7-10 year olds.
The Ulster indoor juvenile championships are scheduled for the weekend of March 1st and 2nd so all focus and training is primarily geared towards that.
