A man in his 50s has died in a house fire in South Sligo.
The blaze was reported at a home in the Ballymote area on Thursday morning.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at around 8am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to Sligo University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Gardaí have said that a technical examination of the scene has also been carried out.
