A crowd of hundreds lined the streets of Raphoe yesterday, as the Trucking for Donegal fundraiser took place.
The fundraiser saw a convoy of dozens of trucks take off from Raphoe, before heading for Bridgend and their final destination – a dance and fundraising auction at the Clanree Hotel.
Locals gathered to show support for the fundraiser as it entered its second iteration – the first being held as a fundraiser for Creeslough in 2023.
Organised by lorry driver Colin Kilpatrick, this year’s fundraiser would see money go towards good causes again – this time with funds raised being shared between the Donegal Hospice and the Raphoe Community Playgroup.
A huge thanks to Joe Boland of North West Newspix for these shots from the fundraiser.
