Gardaí are hunting tow men in a wine-coloured Suzuki Grand Vitara jeep who attempted to steal a trailer with a ride-on lawnmower in Carrigans.
The attempted theft happened occurred at Killea Cottages in Altaghderry, Carrigans on Friday the 7th of March shortly after 11.10pm.
The men tried to steal the trailer and jeep but they were interrupted and fled the area immediately.
They were travelling in a wine coloured Suzuki Grand Vitara jeep.
A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to road users who have a dash cam and who were in the area between 10.30pm and 11.30pm to make the footage available to Gardaí. Any relevant information may be passed to Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
