A number of Donegal projects are to benefit from the €35 million received under the Health Service Executive’s Capital Plan for 2025.

Welcoming the allocation, Deputy Pat ‘the Cope’ Gallagher said it was a huge boost for the county.

Some of the projects to share the €35M funding include, the new Cleary Centre in Donegal Town, an extension to Donegal Hospice and a new Primary Care Centre for Lifford.

The Hospice extension is to begin construction later this year while the Cleary Centre for adults with disabilities is to proceed to the detailed design stage.
