DONEGAL BUSINESSES TOPS NATIONAL LEAGUE TABLE FOR FAILING TO HAVE DRINKS LICENCES

drinksMORE business people in Donegal operated without a liquor license than any other county in the last three months of 2012, new figures showed today.

The list was published by the Revenue Commissioners in its quarterly review and as part of its Defaulters List.

More than a quarter of those fined for failing to have a current license were from Co Donegal.

Those fined include:

Owen Boyle, retailer, Kilmacrennan, fined €632.50

Hugh Doherty, publican, Ludden, Buncrana, fined €632.50

Martin Doherty, retailer, Bunbeg, fined €632.50

Inch View Limited, restaurant, Rathmullan, fined €633

Ciaran McGinley, publican, Main Street, Milford, fined €663

Mairead McGlynn, publican, Fintown, fined €750

Brendan McLaughlin, publican, 25 Upper Main Street, Buncrana, fined €750

Patrick McLaughlin, retailer, Ludden, Buncrana, fined €750

Danny Sweeney, hotelier, Dunfanaghy, fined €632.50

Martin Walsh, publican, Glenfin Street, Ballybofey, fined €663

Bridie Ward, publican, Glenfin Street, Ballybofey, fined €750

Derek Wong, restraunteur, Port Road, Letterkenny, fined €663.
