Daniel O’Donnell is looking after the mothers of Donegal again.
The singer is opening his visitor’s centre free of charge to mums this Sunday, Mother’s Day.
Any mum who has her lunch at the singer’s Bank Bistro at the centre will be given a free tour of the centre in Dungloe.
The centre, which contains an A to Z of Daniel’s life including his first schoolbag and his wedding suit, only opened last summer but attracted more than 10,000 visitors in a few short weeks
The centre opens for the season again tomorrow and manager Ann Gallagher reveled there are more surprises in store for fans of the singer.
She said the centre has been a huge bonus for Dungloe which has suffered with the recession in recent years.
“The centre has been flying since it opened last summer and it has give the town a real buzz again which it was missing.
“We had more than 10,000 people here last summer – many from around the world in Australia and Canada.
“We have a few new additions to the centre this year and we’re hoping we’ll have even more visitors. We already have several coachloads booked in,” she said.
Any Daniel fans hoping to get a picture for Mother’s Day with their hero will be disappointed however as he is in America.
