Lotto & 100+ Club
There was no jackpot winning sequence in this weeks Lotto draw but Aidan Hannigan, Donal Callaghan and Claire Grant win €20 each.
Numbers drawn were 6,1,5,4,7,8,3,2. Next weeks Lotto jackpot is €1,900. The Lotto sellers in the coming weeks are: 16th March – Bernard Devine, 23rd March – Cathal Doherty, 30th March – Tony Gallagher and 6th April – Paddy Kelly.
The winner of the 100+ Club draw this week was Louis Browne who wins €100. Thanks to all for their continued support of the weekly Lotto & 100+ Club.
Membership
Adult membership costs €30 per person with a concession rate of €50 for couples (an adult and their partner/husband/wife). Underage registration costs €10 per child or a maximum of €20 for a family. New members are very welcome to join the club. All players must have membership paid before taking part in games and all membership must be paid before 31st March. Seniors & Reserves
The Division 3 league season commences for both teams on Easter weekend the 30th/31st March with away fixtures against Naomh Padraig, Lifford.
Minor Board
The minor team opened their league campaign on Sunday with an impressive victory over local rivals Robert Emmets. Well done to the lads.
They have no league game next weekend. Underage training for girls and boys (U6, U8, U10) continues this Saturday at 11.00am.
New players of any age are always welcome and can register at training. U12 boys training is also on this Saturday from 10.30 to 11.30am.
All players should attend and new players are welcome also. Players are now required to wear gumshields at all training sessions and games.
St Patrick Weekend Day of Culture
The club will be hosting a ‘Day of Culture’ at the pitch this Saturday 16th March from 2.00pm to 5.30pm.
There will be various activities on the day including ceili dancing, traditional sessions, storytelling, face painting, gaelic skills, kids disco and lots more. Complimentary soup and soda bread will be served.
Entry for adults is €5 / €3 for children. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy.
Back of the Wall 5K Challenge
This years ‘Back of the Wall Challenge’ will take place on Sunday 21st April.
Clubhouse Open for Activities
The upstairs room in the clubhouse is currently available for use for classes/activities. Times are flexible and reasonable rates apply. Anyone interested in using these facilities should contact Andy Doherty on (087) 6843311 for more details.
Leaving Cert Grinds
Red Hughs are offering two day intensive grinds courses in Maths (Project Maths to Ordinary Level) and English (generic programme to suit Ordinary Level and Higher Level).
The courses will take place over the Easter holidays in the clubhouse. Places are limited with priority given to club members.
The teachers are vastly experienced and the club will subsidise the course however there will be a small administrative fee. If interested contact Marie McColgan on (086) 3242100 to secure your place. More details are available on club Facebook page.
