A die-hard football fan from Donegal has turned part of his home into a Manchester United themed bar.

Red Devils fanatic Fergus McAteer from Kerrykeel has turned his attic into 'Fergie's Bar'.

The life-long Manchester United fan has amassed an impressive amount of memorabilia and has covered the walls and roof of his attic with hats, scarfs and posters.

On match-days Fergie's Bar is rocking and is usually frequented by up to TWELVE close family members.

Fergus told the Irish Daily Mirror, "We usually have around 10-12 people around. It can be great craic when the games are on.

"It's a bit of a games room as well, I have a fusball table in it too so it's a great little spot.

"My wife has been very accommodating to be fair to her. She knows I'm United mad, and at least the stuff is out of the way in the attic!"

Fergus also revealed how he will be able to fulfil a life-long dream on May 21st when he gets to walk out on the hallowed turf of Old Trafford for a match.

Fergus said, "Every year there is a Football Aid charity match. I signed up to take part in the one at Old Trafford on May 21.

"Not only was I picked to play but I'm also going to be captaining the side on the day and wearing the number seven jersey.

"My son will be the mascot on the day, so it will literally be a dream come true for me.

"I can't even explain how happy it will make me."
