And yesterday Letterkenny man Frank Black finally got his bride when he married DJ girlfriend Kikki Hayes.
Frank, a mechanic with the army and former 2FM radio show host Nikki, finally got hitched at a civil ceremony in Dublin.
The couple were joined by their 18 month old daughter Farrah as well as family and friends for the marriage ceremony.
Nikki said afterwards "I'm the happiest woman in the world. I'm now Mrs Black and I'm over the moon."
After visiting the Guinness Storehouse with a photographer, the happy couple headed to Alfie's Bar on South William Street.
The couple were joined by more than 40 friends for a cocktail party later on.
