What should I do in an Emergency?
You can help by knowing Basic First Aid! Simple little things can even save a life!
DCL Basic one day First Aid Course, this Saturday 16th May, 9.30am to 4.30pm at the DCL offices. Cost €40. This Saturday’s course as it almost full so contact ASAP. Deposit of €10 to Dunkineely Community Limited offices, secures a place on the course.
DCL Three day FETAC level 5 First Aid course. Mon 25th, Tues 26th and Wed 27th May 9.30-5pm. Cost €120. Deposit of €30 to Dunkineely Community Limited offices, ASAP as places are limited and filling fast.

A six week course in either Upcycling (i.e. converting old and waste materials into something new and useful e.g. furniture) or a Follow-on Interior Design Course with Sile Kelly (the most popular of these two would run).

Dunkineely Community Ltd (DCL) - Has a library of over 500 books from Children's Literature, Teenage Fiction (The Fault in our stars), Classics (Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice), Horror, Comedy, Booker-Prize etc. Borrow
Traditional music session on Wednesday at McIntyre's Bar, Dunkineely at 10pm. All musicians and singers welcome.
Recovery from Emotional Distress
G.R.O.W. – Gradually, Regaining, Our, Wellbeing! Support and a program for recovery. Weekly Grow Meetings at Niall Mor Centre, Killybegs on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm. Bus Tour Day Excursion
Conneely Travel and JIW Tours have organised a one day tour excursion to Arranmore Island for Saturday 23rd May. This is a fun, social bus tour outing, with some gentle strolling. The tour will include a guided bus tour of Arranmore, 3 course meal in Leo's Tavern, Meenaleck, plus music and dancing. For further info, cost and bookings, please ring Keith Corcoran on 087-9213200.
Dunkineely Celtic
Are having a 5K Walk and Run in aid of club funds on Friday the 22nd May at 7pm. Registration in the Methodist Hall (where the Montessori School is held) from 6pm. €10 for runners and €5 for walkers.

Please feel free to pop into the office any morning Mon-Fri 9.30-12.30 and chat with Michael, use the Internet (20c per half hour), print or photocopy documents (20c per page) or borrow a book.
Bruckless Cemetery Sunday
Cemetery Sunday will be held on Sunday 26th July at 4:00pm. Parishioners are asked the tidy up their family plots for the occasion. Thank you.
Southwest Birdwatchers
Are having an outing this Saturday the 16th May to Horn Head. We will be meeting at Inver Bridge at 9am and we will car pool from there. For those coming from the north of the county, we will meet at the Town Square in Dunfanaghy at between 10.15 and 10.30am.
If you would like to join us, please bring warm clothing with a waterproof jacket, trousers, appropriate footwear and a packed lunch and flask. Bring binoculars if you have them.
