THE people of Donegal have said No to lowering the age of Presidential candidates from 35 to 21.
In the second vote of the day, the people of the county want the age limit to remain at 35.
Donegal North East has just returned its verdict and it is a resounding no.
A total of 21,797 said not to changing the age while 8,678 said yes to changing the age.
In Donegal South-West tallies show a similar pattern and a resounding no vote is also expected to be carried with almost 78% voting no.
