DONEGAL SFC: Michael Murphy scored 1-5 to ensure Glenswilly earned a superb win against a resilient Gaoth Dobhair side in a game played in dreadful conditions in Magheragallon. 
Gaoth Dobhair played with the advantage of a strong wind at their backs in the first-half but they failed to reflect their dominance on the scoreboard.
Odhran Mac Niallais scored two outstanding opening points to give Gaoth Dobhair an early platform to build on.
Gary McFadden hit back from a free before Mac Niallias added another for Gaoth Dobhair to put them back out in front by two.
Glenswilly then levelled when McFadden scored again twice from placed balls.
Mac Niallais landed a monster score and a fine score from Cian Mulligan put Gaoth Dobhair back into a two point lead as the game ticked towards half-time.
Gaoth Dobhair were then hit with a body blow when referee Andrew Mullan awarded Glenswilly a penalty after a long direct ball inside wasn't dealt with by the Gaoth Dobhair full-back line.
Michael Murphy made no mistake and expertly dispatched his penalty into the bottom corner giving Joe Duffy no chance.

However, early in the second-half Gaoth Dobhair were handed a lifeline when a long ball inside was spilled and Cian Mulligan was on hand to bury the ball to the back of the net.
Ciaran Bonner and Michael Murphy (2) responded quickly to restore their advantage and Glenswilly never looked back.
Murphy scored two absolutely superb points to put Glenswilly three ahead with ten minutes to go.
Gaoth Dobhair battled hard and introduced Michael Carroll and he looked dangerous.
Mac Niallais added a free to narrow the gap but Glenswilly added another late on to ensure Glenswilly secured a crucial win.
