GLENSWILLY GAA CLUB NOTES

Senior championship date set

The date has been set for the senior championship quarter final against St Eunans. The game will be played on Sunday evening, September 13th at 7.30pm. The reserves will play their game at 6pm. Needless to say the club is encouraging as many fans as possible to come along on the night and cheer the team on.

Change of times for underage training

There has been a change of training times for some of the underage teams for the foreseeable weeks. The U10s will now change on Monday nights from 6pm until 7pm while the U8s will train on Wednesdays from 6-7pm. All training is on the main pitch as normal. If these times change again, we will post on the club's Facebook page. Also a quick heads-up to the U10s players that there will be a blitz to round off the season in Ardara on September, 19th next. Further details will be posted closer to the time.

Thirds game

The thirds are in action this Saturday evening against Glenties in Glenswilly in Division 5 with a throw-in time of 6.30pm. All support is welcome.

U13s

The U13s continue to train on the training pitch each Monday and Wednesday night. There may be a friendly this Friday night and players will be contacted by email with the details.

First Aid Course

It is planned to run a one day sports first Aid course in the club house. The course will possibly in November when all competitions have ended. Places will be limited and it is recommended that each team and group within the club have a representative on this course. Anyone interested in this course please contact /text Elaine on 0861611240.

Bingo

Bingo continues to be a great success for the club and continues each Wednesday starting at 9pm. Anybody wishing to help on the night can contact Paul Lapsley.
